This scene is so much like one that I see often here in Florida, minus the snow! The cutout horseshoe shape in the tree to accommodate electrical wires. It's such a symbol of our times and always makes me think of how much mankind has pushed and shoved its way making room for convenience. Nice job!

Oops - now that I look more closely, this tree hasn't been cutout at all. Oh well - still a wonderful job, and you get what I mean anyway. The scene here in Florida IS a cutout.

Another beauty pic. I just discovered yer blog. I'm from Wisconsin and find your paintings evocative of many of those great seasonal moments! Please keep up the good work!

Your work is simply beautiful. It's so nice to know your out in the elements painting nature instead of painting from a photo of people standing in a museum staring at a painting. Can't wait to see spring come back into your work. Have a great week of painting!
