Red, Yellow, Blue and Green -

Daily Painting, Yellow House, Green Roof,Red Chiminey's, Madison, Alabama

I am happy with this little painting. This angle of the house and chimney's reminds me of a child's drawing of a house and the primary colors reinforced that feeling for me. I always become a little more nostalgic during stressful times. Memories, simplicity, basic shapes and colors comfort me.

Nice composition and great color. Like shady side of the street too. I am not sure where Madison, Al is. I know there is a Madison county in north AL. If you are visiting now, you picked an incredibly hot time to do so. Good luck and stay cool.

This is a little gem... I agree with you: simplicity comforts very much, and makes great art, too!

I love the simplicity of this painting. It has a nice abstract quality to it. Very nice!

The balance of the shadows gives this painting a very nice tranquil feeling.
