One Last Swing in the South -

Daily Painting, Landscape, Tire Swing, Tree, Farmhouse, Alabama, Tennessee

12x16" oil on a canvas panel.
This has been one of the most hectic weeks I have ever had!
I have had work each day and freelance each evening and preparing for another move in between. I had a small break on my freelance assignment over the weekend and took a personal break from my packing to paint. This subject seemed to fit my mood perfectly. The nostalgia of an old tire swing and my very last painting in Tennessee/Alabama. I am bound for home in Ohio for awhile and then I am off to..................................................................my next adventure.

Great composition between the house and large tree. I also really like how you handled the trees in the background.

I hope your next adventure didn't swallow you up and no more beautiful paintings from Chris Greco... this piece being a prime example.

This is really nostalgic ,we had a swing at the bottom of our garden in South Africa. I still remember playing on it when I was ten .Great art work will be back.

I love this painting. It looks a little like my granny's house, (that is no more) and a lot like the Grandma House that lives in my dreams. It's as if you were in there and painted what you saw. Thank you.
