Afternoon in the Valley-2, and A Posthumous Floral -

Daily Paintings,Gurly, AL,Dead Daffodils,Post It Notes

The second of three paintings in the Tennessee Valley. Also a still life/floral from last week that I spent so much time admiring that I forgot to post it. I'm not exactly sure why...but I like this one very much.

Love them, especially the floral. You really capture the true image of things.

I love the bottom one with the flower, Dad. If it doesn't sell it would look fantastic in my apartment :)

Maybe it's because it's (the floral) so unusual/unexpected a composition? and yet really elegant at the same time...and how the yellow forms this wonderful mass of color.
Very cool blog.

Do any of the post-it-notes have a price on it?.... like the painting. Glad to find out it's not sold when looping back around.
