Sunlight on the Riverbank 6"x6" oil

My second painting on the river. It is a great day when I can spend a few hours beside a river. I had a few new brushes with me and seemed to do more "dabbing" than usual. I love new brushes...the sharp edge and the point. I don't have a very delicate stroke and tend to beat brushes into an early grave. I mostly use Utrecht bristles and I carry a few Princeton bristles, all flats and brights and cheap.
