The weather has been great and cotton is being harvested all over the valley. You see cotton on the sides of the roads and giant blocks of cotton (the size of a large truck) at the gins.

On the Gravel Road - SOLDDaily Painting, Tennessee, Pine Tree, Road
It's September and the weather in the Tennessee Valley has been great. This gravel road is between Fayetteville and Lynchburg. There are huge pastures and great views of the surrounding hills and it is rarely travelled...a great and peaceful place to paint!

Compliments of my Garden - Daily Painting, Yellow Day Lilly, Concord Grapes
After spending the morning at the river, I returned home and chose a Yellow Day Lilly and Concord Grapes from my garden to paint.

A Morning at the River - Daily Painting, Ohio, River,Morning Light
I went home to Ohio for a long weekend visit with my family. On Friday I was on my own, the kids had school and my wife had to work. I headed to the reservoir and completed two small paintings. I then went home and painted two more in the back yard. I'll post the other three over the next few days.
