A Jar of Cotton - SOLDDaily Painting, Still Life, cotton on the branch, jar

I broke off a few branches of cotton to bring home with me last week and this is the first sketch. As a born and bred northerner I am enthralled with this strange plant. I can't help but think of socks and T-shirts every time I pass a field of cotton.
