Lilac Incandescence - Daily Painting, Lilac, paint brushes, pitcher, door knob, still life oil painting

12x16 oil on canvas panel. I lit this still life set up with a bright incandescent bulb to create strong warm colors. The yellow light on a predominately warm colored set up and the complementary Lilac flowers was the challenge. While the flowers suffered under the heat of the lamp I enjoyed the challenge.
