"Hot Spot on a Cold Day"
7x9" oil on a gesso board.
It was a bright and brilliant day, after the first snowstorm of the season. Our cat, Ginger found some warmth in front of the garage.
I started with a rough sketch, followed with an orange and blue wash in. The next step was to begin blocking in color, the rest of the time was spent fixing it as best I could.
