"Self Portrait"

I am calling this done, mostly because I am tired of looking at it!
This was definitely one of the hardest paintings I've attempted. A self portrait is a constant battle that in the end you can't really be satisfied so much with the picture, but the challenge is an extraordinary learning experience.

Would I be cheating if I painted from a photo? I can't imagine doing this from looking at a mirror. It would drive me crazy.
But I would like to try a photo.
